If you want to make a difference…you’re headed in the right direction by choosing to find out about Montessori teacher education – the opportunity for adults as well as children to have an “education for life.” (If you missed out on being a Montessori child, here is a second chance!) Every day, Montessori teachers do a job worth doing. Every day, we are helping children to become the best they can be.
 
Don’t settle for less than the best! There are programs that take less time and cost less. There may even be one closer to where you live. You’ll pay for what you get – but why not make sure you get what you pay for, too? Taking a Montessori teacher education course is something you’ll probably only do once. You owe it to yourself – and the children – to find the very best available. Our courses provide future teachers with the tools and techniques they’ll need to organize an appropriate physical environment for children and present Montessori’s concept of the child in a context of up-to-date child development theory and contemporary American culture. And there’s an “extra something”: a carefully and consciously designed experience that prepares the adult to create a positive psychological environment.
 
Your Assurance of Quality: Affiliated with the American Montessori Society since 1974, MWTTP is authorized to recommend students who successfully complete course requirements for AMS teaching credentials.  Course quality is also assured by MWTTP's full accreditation status granted by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE).  Further, the Early Childhood course is accepted by the California Department of Social Services as an alternate preparation for preschool teachers/directors.
