Montessori Greenhouse, established in 1970, is a privately owned school dedicated to the holistic nurturing of children and their families through the Montessori approach to education. Serving more than 270 children in two locations in Garden Grove and Los Alamitos, CA, the school is an American Montessori Society Affiliate.

We know the future of our world depends on developing autonomous people who can think for themselves…competent people with the intellectual tools for creative work…responsible people who care enough to attack social and environmental problems. Every day, our teachers do a job worth doing: helping children to become the best they can be.

We offer a gifted program for every child from the age of 18 months through grade 6, with day care available (7 to 6).

Regular program hours: early childhood (ages 2.9 - 5), 9:00am to 3:00pm, elementary (ages 5 -12), 8:30am to 3:15pm. Once you see for yourself, you won’t want to settle for less. Call or write today for full information and registration.

Sponsorship of Montessori Teacher Training is one of the things that makes the Greenhouse a special school. Montessori Western Teacher Training Program offers two one-year courses: Early Childhood (ages 2½-6) and early Elementary (ages 6-9).
